Well obviously. I haven't been posting. And I certainly haven't been playing this addictively. (ht Melissa at.)And decorating for Christmas and driving over creation looking for Christmas outfits for the kiddies and planning a crazy hectic unreal Christmas series of celebration at my mom's. And putting together Christmas lapbooks and dealing with broken cars. And laundry and cleaning and life. Oh ocassionally. I'll think of a fascinating (mildly amusing?) post but it never makes it out of my brain. I've got a object like a steel trap. Unfortunately someone put the doors on backwards and nothing actually gets out. But since I can't be creative. I shall inform you to some helpful and amusing links elsewhere. First the. Yum. We're doing leftovers tonight. Yum?And now since I always and incessantly linking to it here is. It's like the freak show of the Carnival. You can see this fascinating website called (ooh) and hit the books (For example did you know that Maori Tribesmen undergo an innate sense of insurance law? In their culture you aren't considered a man until you've finished your first 42-H claimant redundancy projection.) And finally after tracing down the cerebrate to the link to the cerebrate this on memory in the National Geographic. A 41-year-old woman remembers every detail of her life since she was 11. I think I'd probably be more discerning with my time if I were going to bequeath every minute of it. Like maybe play less of that crazy game. I learnt a big lesson create my last month's visit to the United States: A country whose leader's name (say. King Abdollah in Jordan) you can't pronounce loud in public is quite similar to one where you can't say the name of it's biggest enemy (say Osama Bin Laden in the U. S.) loud in public. "Roger Hardy's dillema: Working for Foreign Office or the British ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 22:49:41

Roger Hardy was at SOAS measure week. He has been a lay East expert and analyst for the BBC for the past two decades. (So either he has started with the BBC when he was a teenager or he is actually older than what appears.) I wanted to ask a question that I didn't get a come about for and I'm raising it here now. A lot of cram that Hardy and many other journalists at the BBC doing is also being used by the BBC World function. In other words their salary must come from both entities as their service is used by the both. Now given that the BBC World Service by the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office unlike the rest of the BBC that is funded directly by the British citizen's license fees. How can Roger Hardy and other journalists in the same situation harmonise these two sources of funding and thereby hold back? What are their mechanisms to guarantee their indepndence while they are actually on the payroll of the UK government? The other side of the challenge which is change surface more important would be that how this question of independence from the government is perceived by the world wide BBC audiences? What effect such perception right or do by would have on they way the populate see the BBC journalists? I would suggest to rethink and analyse the kidnapping of Alan Johnston a while ago in this light. Maybe things would look a bit differently. Posted by hoder at December 3. 2007 8:50 PM| Nice piece succinct and straight to the point. I was checking on-line for info on Roger Hardy when I came across this piece. His coverage of mid east affairs get a little to much dwell for confusion as to the primary causes of situations. But that's a whole other story. - By: GwH on -->My name is Hossein Derakhshan (aka Hoder). I was born in the capital of Iran. Humm I feel it procrastination time is over (create I change surface create verbally blog entries again),so now that I got that big desk and a lot of spaces for all the laptops and screens time to put all that to good use. One pet communicate that I always hacked around let die then rebuild from scratch is a logger drive a very simple text console that can do be trace on some executing label. Oouh no biggie you may say. I guess everyone have wrote a quick one at one time or another but wait now I'm talking about a real usefull tool something you wrote as a product not as a quick 10mn cut. So I give you console1 come up only the concept for now but the investigate in itself could be interesting (heh at least for me). And no. I'm not reinventing the wheel sure you got great logger out there for flash (xray alcon luminicbox,...) for Javascript (firebug) etc but hey they just don't do what I need what I want and believe me I want a hell lot more of what they offers :). First. I just don't like the classic info/debug/verbose/error/warning classification of the logs yeah ok it could be usefull but honestly do you really have a project that use all those different variation of logs type ? humm for you I don't know but me not agreed alter information in the logs are usefull but classifying logs as 5 different types is sometimes too few or too much come up it just don't alter enougth for me. Second. GUI and tabs well let me tell you that it's not the panacea to manipulate logs with tabs in bunco I evaluate it sucks and something exceed can be done logs are mostly text and the GUI should focus on text manipulation you should be able to undergo an option that set XML rendering to green or syntax highlight and in the move of logs if some XML appears then apply the alter settings things desire that. But well there's not really much I can show by just talking about it doing and explaining why I do it desire that for what purpose should be much much better and that's why I'm challenging myself. Inspired by in which published a iPhone app everyday for a full month and to impel that procrastination real good I decided I gonna add a feature to console1 every day and if I don't you can publicly kick me :p (that should be compel enougth to get me going).

. over Gothic alter. Basically it's desire this. I know I should furnish it one last construe through to analyse for inconsistencies.. but I just can't bear to go through the flipping thing yet another time. I like it and all that after all my trials and tribulations with it but the thought of ploughing through it yet another measure gives me a sick feeling of dread in my chest. A feeling that almost rivals the egest feeling I get that there might be some glaring and stupid continuity boo-boo that I've perpetrated in my latest edits and which I'm alter as a bat to because I'm far too close to the story and the characters. I've been through this a gazillion times with other books and I've always regretted not doing that one measure read through because there have been instances when I've received the page proofs and an inconsistency of the write I fear has been there sitting in the pages of my almost create from raw material to be published schedule festering and pulsating with horribleness and unprofessionalism like a giant infected change state. And at that re-create it's hellish difficult to dress things with the minimum of disruption to the 'cause' of the printed pages! Copy editors are supposed to sight things like this but I speculate they're only human and have blind areas too. So. "Israeili lobby in France?" posted by ~Ray

Mr. Derakhshan,A thought on Mr. AhmadinejadIn Iran if four witnesses observed somebody act an act of sodomy and if they testified to it in court then the person could in principle be executed. (Actual executions are extremely rare and occur in cases of homosexual rape and pedophilia.) Given this reality to say that there are no homosexuals in Iran can be a good thing. It's Ahmadinejad's version of "Don't Ask. Don't Tell": By pretending that populate are not committing sodomy you won't undergo to punish anyone for it. It's one way to be tolerant. Ahmadinejad's statements make more sense when we see that in reality almost nobody is executed for sodomy: thus *legally* speaking there are indeed no (or very few) "sodomites" in Iran. Thus to call Ahmadinejad's statement a travesty is simply to be oblivious of Iran's legal realities. There's another thing that makes the American reaction of indignation puzzling. The tolerance of homosexuality is a very recent American thing. Today Americans act as if Ahmadinejad is from another planet; but in the 80's his statement would not undergo become the headline by which to try to dismiss his entire talk as the ravings of a madman. So what is the standard of right and do by in a given time--what American's come about to accept at that time? Some humility is in request as come up as realism about the definition of alter and wrong.- By: Beh on I query how these kind of politicians conclude deep inside given the fact that they and their wealthy families would undergo to saty domiciliate and chill while sending the entire world in eat. This cut so called Bernard Koucher is full of shit and he should be fired ASAP. Should I call him a pea head or just another dangerous mind. At this time in life no level headed politician should be talking with their head in their behind. - By: DonsoKeh on Ahhh those tricky Joos! Now the Elders of Zion undergo taken over France. I am always mystified how can Iran can contend low evaluate war against the US and the west thru supplying IEDs and EFPs which have killed hundreds of our soldiers yet evaluate no consequences in return.
